About This Picture...

I chose this as one of my favorite pictures because it looks French to me.
I've always loved France, and more than anything look forward to visiting
Paris someday.

Some of the Continental elements are the porcelain pitcher and wash basin,
the top of the antique "secretary" in the background, and even the neutrally
colored walls of our bedroom.

In addition, I usually let my hair hang evenly on both sides, but in this picture
I casually tossed it back on one side for the "swept back" look, which
makes me seem to myself as a young French maiden, inviting her lover
to come closer.

Melanie is a prolific author, musician, composer,
teacher, theorist, and successful businesswoman.

She is also the founder of the first Transgender Forum on America Online
and the creator of the world's very first Transgender Support Web Site.
