This was taken either at the top of Donahue Pass, or somewhere on the other side.

I can tell because of the smile.

Up to the pass, it is looking forward to an exhausting trudge up the mountain.
Once you crest the summit, it is mostly downhill the rest of the way,
and the remaining hike seems more like a casual stroll.
