About This Picture...

This was one of the first nude pictures that was taken of me.  It was just a candid shot, coming out of the shower.  It is always something of a shock when you see yourself from a more objective perspective.  After all, everybody changes over the years as you grow and age, but it happens so slowly that you never really see the sum total of how all those changes add up.

So, when I saw this picture, it kinda hit me all at once.  Realizing there might be some life yet in this old biddy, I asked Teresa to take a few more shots (since she is such a good photographer) and armed with half a dozen of these, I posted the first ones to my web site.

I was surprised to find that I apparently had a latent enjoyment of being a nude model, and in fact came to realize that if my early life had been different, I might very well have fallen into that as a profession that would have likely been quite fulfilling for me.

Of course, at my age, any notion of doing this professionally is a bit beyond my reach.  Still, I have had a wonderful time capturing what remains of my youth (though one visitor to my site has referred to it as "Granny Porn" - which I think is a really cute phrase!

I may still do a few more sessions in the future, until the years finally take their toll and make the pictures more gruesome than glamorous!
